The 19th century portrait of Chitra in shringar for Krishna (Marwar school). Artist depicts the gopi bhava (unconditional love for the Lord) in Chitra, which leads us to Krishna through transcendental love of the highest order. Chitra is one of the Ashtasakhis and manifestation of Radha.  Shri Radha feels that her love for Krishna can always expand to greater heights, and therefore she manifests herself as the Ashtasakhis, her replications or kaya-vyuhas.

Artwork was created by Lal Singh Bhati in the late 19th century. The painting is made in Jodhpur (Marwar) school painting style using natural colors & mix media on art sheet. Value collectible in intact condition. Artwork size is 21″x30″ (excluding mount & frame).
